Abstract(s)
O ambiente de negócios passa por grandes transformações, assim como vivência alta
competitividade e inovações socioeconômicas, culturais e tecnológicas, o que exige das
organizações empresariais respostas assertivas e rápidas para enfrentar essas
mudanças, que têm o potencial de afetar sua existência.
Este estudo busca uma melhor compreensão sobre o processo de reestruturação de
empresas, investigando a visão de especialistas em crises empresariais sobre causas,
sintomas, severidade do declínio empresarial e fatores determinantes, estratégias e
processos que mais contribuem para o sucesso de um processo de turnaround.
Esta investigação apresenta a revisão de literatura dos principais temas em estudo,
o método, a amostra, o instrumento e o protocolo do instrumento de medida e, ainda,
a análise dos resultados, por meio da estatística descritiva, além da discussão desses
resultados.
Como resultado deste estudo, identificou-se, a partir da visão de especialistas em
crises empresariais, um conjunto relevante de fatores e estratégias que podem
contribuir para a gestão de empresas em situação de crise e para o sucesso do processo
de reestruturação empresarial. Esse conjunto, se adequadamente implementado, pode
ampliar a probabilidade de recuperação e de preservação das organizações
empresariais.
The business environment is undergoing major transformations, as well as experiencing high competitiveness and socioeconomic, cultural and technological innovations, which requires assertive and quick responses from business organizations to face these changes, which have the potential to affect their existence. This study seeks a better understanding of the process of restructuring companies, investigating the view of specialists in business crises about causes, symptoms, severity of business decline and determining factors, strategies and processes that most contribute to the success of a turnaround process. This investigation presents a literature review of the main themes under study, the method, the sample, the instrument and the protocol of the measurement instrument, and also the analysis of the results, through descriptive statistics, in addition to the discussion of these results. As a result of this study, from the point of view of specialists in business crises, a relevant set of factors and strategies that can contribute to the management of companies in crisis situations and to the success of the business restructuring process were identified. This set, if properly implemented, can increase the probability of recovery and preservation of business organizations.
