Abstract(s)
Esta investigação fundamenta-se na problemática da indisciplina; aponta a indisciplina como um fenómeno iminente nas escolas, gerador de uma atmosfera de insegurança, que corrompe as condições de aprendizagem, que ofende a dignidade de professores e funcionários, compromete o seu desempenho e cria ansiedade nos pais. Este conhecimento empírico conduz ao problema de investigação: o acompanhamento e orientação colaborativa dos professores por um supervisor pedagógico, dinamizador da prática e do conhecimento metodológicos para a excelência na gestão disciplinar, são favoráveis à diminuição da ocorrência de situações de indisciplina na escola? Uma investigação que considera como universo de estudo os professores e diretores de Primeiro Ciclo do Ensino Básico do Ensino Público da Região Autónoma da Madeira, por recurso a uma amostra aleatória, na qual são utilizados como instrumentos de recolha de dados o questionário e o guião de entrevista. O tratamento e análise de dados são realizados num plano misto de correlação das metodologias quantitativa e qualitativa, com vista aos seguintes objetivos: obter as representações dos professores sobre o fenómeno de indisciplina (causas, indicadores/manifestações, soluções); conhecer as estratégias, os mecanismos e/ou os instrumentos criados e operacionalizados nas escolas com vista à gestão da disciplina; definir o perfil ideal de supervisor pedagógico capaz de auxiliar, criteriosamente, na construção da disciplina escolar; determinar o âmbito de atuação e/ou nível de interferência do supervisor pedagógico de modo a ser um contributo para a construção da disciplina na escola. Um estudo que permitiu concluir que a indisciplina está presente nas escolas de Primeiro Ciclo do Ensino Público da Região Autónoma da Madeira e que a supervisão pedagógica disciplinar é reconhecida como um mecanismo de desenvolvimento profissional vantajoso, capaz de apoiar os professores e a instituição escola na requalificação da prática pedagógica e na superação dos problemas disciplinares. Um estudo que permitiu traçar o perfil de um supervisor pedagógico disciplinar com caraterísticas específicas e definir as singulares competências da sua atuação.
This research is based on the problem of indiscipline; presents indiscipline as an imminent phenomenon in schools, generating an atmosphere of insecurity, which corrupts the learning conditions, which offends the dignity of teachers and staff, compromises their performance and creates anxiety in parents. This empirical knowledge leads to the research problem: monitoring and collaborative guidance of teachers for an pedagogical supervisor, facilitator of methodological and practical knowledge for excellence in disciplinary management are favorable to reducing the occurrence of disruptive situations at school? An investigation that considers as study universe teachers and directors of the First Cycle of Public Basic Education of the Autonomous Region of Madeira, by use of a random sample, which are used as data collection tools the questionnaire and the script of interview. The data processing and analysis are carried out in a mixed plan correlation of quantitative and qualitative methodologies, with a view to the following objectives: get the representations of teachers about the phenomenon of indiscipline (causes, indicators/demonstrations, solutions); know the strategies, mechanisms and/or instruments created and operationalized in schools for the management of the discipline; define the ideal profile of pedagogical supervisor able to assist, carefully, in the construction of school discipline; determine the scope of operation and/or interference level pedagogical supervisor to be a contribution to the construction of the discipline in the school. A study concluded that indiscipline is present in the First Cycle of Public Basic Education of the Autonomous Region of Madeira and the disciplinary pedagogical supervision is recognized as a professional development mechanism advantageous, able to support teachers and school institution in rehabilitation pedagogic practice and overcoming the disciplinary problems. A study allowed to profile disciplinary pedagogical supervisor with specific features and define the own skills of their performance.
