| dc.description.abstract | Com a evolução tecnológica, a necessidade de sistemas informáticos no diaa-dia é inevitável, uma vez que facilitam na realização das tarefas. O mesmo ocorre com as organizações que para sobreviver num mercado empresarial mais feroz, necessitam de ferramentas para otimizar a gestão da organização e ajudar na tomada de decisões, o que garante uma evolução sustentada. Contudo, uma organização, por si só, já é complexa e se acrescentar sistemas informáticos, ainda torna-se mais complexa. Existem disciplinas de engenharia de requisitos e sistemas informáticos que ajudam na construção e manutenção das organizações, no entanto, não existe uma coesão dos dois, muitas das disciplinas não se preocupam com lado tecnológico e muitos dos sistemas informáticos são inflexíveis, de modo a satisfazer as necessidades da organização. Por isso, a disciplina de Engenharia Organizacional e a metodologia DEMO tenta juntar as duas partes, organização e tecnologia, cuja finalidade é a criação de modelos que não só simplificam a compreensão da natureza da organização, mas como também servem de modelos para sistemas informáticos. Um dos focos deste projeto é utilização dos métodos do DEMO para modelação dos processos na área do urbanismo da Câmara Municipal do Funchal. A maior parte da modelação baseia-se a elaboração de diagramas que contribuem para uma perspetiva mais coerente do processo de urbanismo. O outro foco do projeto foi o desenvolvimento de componentes do protótipo desenvolver um protótipo (DISME) com vista a dar suporte ao processo. | pt_PT |
| dc.description.abstract | With technological developments, the need for computer systems in day-to-day is inevitable as they make it easier to perform tasks. The same is true for organizations that, in order to survive in a fiercer business market, they need tools to simplify management and help them in making decisions, which ensures sustained evolution. However, an organization by itself is already complex and if we add computer systems, it becomes even more complex. There are disciplines and computer systems that help in building and maintaining organizations, however there is no cohesion between these two, many of the disciplines are not technologically concerned and many of the computer systems are inflexible to meet the needs of the organization. Therefore, the Organizational Engineering discipline and the DEMO methodology try to bring together the two parts, organization and technology, whose purpose is to create models that not only simplify the understanding of the nature of the organization, but also serve as models for computer systems. One of the focuses of this project is the use of DEMO methods for process modeling in the urban planning area of Funchal City Hall. Most of the modeling is based on the development of diagrams that contribute to a more coherent perspective of the urbanism process. The other focus of the project was the development of prototype components to develop a prototype (DISME) for process support. | pt_PT |
