Abstract(s)
L’identité culturelle d’une communauté se révèle de différentes manières. Si chez les
pêcheurs l’osmose entre l’élément marin et les hommes se reflète dans leurs pratiques
quotidiennes, leurs rites tant profanes que religieux, cette identité s’exprime également
dans le verbe.
Cet article a pour objet de montrer que le langage, qui reproduit la pensée, n'existe que
par l'objet auquel il renvoie, la pêche et le monde marin des pêcheurs de Nazaré.
Différentes expressions de cette pensée illustrent le propos afin de démontrer aussi que
l’emprunt de vocables spécifiques au métier est à l’origine d’un portugais identitaire et
patrimonial permettant de distinguer les Nazaréens des autres communautés tant
maritimes que terrestres.
A identidade cultural de uma comunidade se expressa de diferentes maneiras. Se entre pescadores, a osmose entre o elemento aquático e homens reflete-se em suas práticas diárias, ritos, tanto secular como religioso, esta exprime-se igualmente no falar. Este artigo tem como objetivo demonstrar que a linguagem, que reproduz o pensamento, só existe pelo objeto ao qual se refere, aqui o mundo marítimo dos pescadores da Nazaré. Diferentes expressões desse pensamento ilustram o propósito de modo a evidenciar que o empréstimo de vocábulos específicos à faina do mar é a origem de uma língua portuguesa identitária e patrimonial que permite distinguir os Nazarenos das outras comunidades tão terrestres como marítimas.
The cultural identity of a community reveals itself in different ways. If among fishermen osmosis between the marine component and men is reflected in their daily practices, rites both secular and religious, that identity is also expressed in the verb. This article aims to show that the language, which reproduces the thought, exists only by the object to which it refers, here the marine world of the fishermen of Nazaré. Different expressions of this thought about the show to demonstrate also that borrowing for specific vocables in art is originally a Portuguese identity and heritage that distinguishes the Nazarenes as other marine and terrestrial communities.
