Abstract(s)
O objetivo deste trabalho foi desenvolver um protótipo para monitorização ambiental urbana com recurso a uma rede de sensores sem fios (RSSF), para a monitorização de alguns poluentes que contribuem para a degradação da qualidade do ar quer em ambientes interiores quer exteriores. Inicialmente efetuou-se um estudo acerca da rede de monitorização da qualidade do ar existente na ilha da Madeira, bem como a classificação desses mesmos poluentes. Fez-se, ainda, uma pesquisa de alguns sensores passĆveis de serem utilizados no que diz respeito Ć monitorização da qualidade do ar. O protótipo desenvolvido Ć© constituĆdo por dois tipos de nós sensores, nomeadamente nós móveis e nós fixos. O primeiro, como o nome indica, Ć© móvel e pode ser transportado por peƵes ou em veĆculos e permite a monitorização de monóxido de carbono em zonas de trĆ”fego rodoviĆ”rio, no interior de parques tĆŗneis. O segundo permite monitorizar poluentes quer em ambiente interior quer exterior. No interior sĆ£o medidos os poluentes dióxido de carbono e partĆculas inalĆ”veis e no exterior sĆ£o medidos o monóxido de carbono e os parĆ¢metros meterológicos de temperatura e humidade relativa. Os dados recolhidos pelos nós sensores sĆ£o encaminhados para uma estação base e estes podem ser visualizados atravĆ©s de uma aplicação Web. AtravĆ©s desta, Ć© possĆvel a visualização grĆ”fica dos parĆ¢metros medidos bem como a visualização espacial do monóxido de carbono atravĆ©s da ferramenta Google Earth.
The aim of this work was to develop a prototype for urban environmental monitoring with wireless sensor networks (WSNs) for the monitoring of some pollutants that contribute to the degradation of air quality in indoor and outdoor environments. Initially, a study was carried out on the existing air quality monitoring network, as well, the classification of these same pollutants. A survey was also made for some sensors that could be used in air quality monitoring. The developed prototype consists of two types of sensor nodes, namely portable nodes and fixed nodes. The first, as the name implies, is portable and can be transported by pedestrians and allows the monitoring of carbon monoxide in road traffic areas, parks or tunnels. The second allows you to monitor pollutants both indoors and outdoors environments. Inside, carbon dioxide and particulate pollutants are measured, and carbon monoxide, temperature and humidity parameters are measured outdoors. Data collected by the sensor nodes is routed to a base station and it can be viewed through a web application. Through it, it is possible to graphically display the measured parameters as well as the spatial visualization of carbon monoxide through the Google Earth tool.
