Abstract(s)
O presente relatório pretende detalhar as atividades desenvolvidas no estágio
The present report aims to describe the activities developed during the editing and revision internship at the Center for Atlantic History Studies – Alberto Vieira, of the Madeira Archives and Library Department. Starting from a theoretical-methodological framework, it seeks to demonstrate the importance of the editing/revision professional and its contribution to the improvement of a textual production. The objective of the investigation is to trace some elements of textuality presented in the construction of the texts. In addition, on a practical level, it attempts to identify problems encountered throughout the process and, perhaps, some resolution proposals. It does not seek to analyze the content; on the contrary, what this communication proposes is precisely to take a closer look at the writing/text and systematize concepts associated with this domain through the using of examples. This report, therefore, does not investigate the substance of the objects, but rather the textual elements that compose it, based on the premise that writing has a normative character and, at the same time, a sociolinguistic basis. As a result, we observed that, even in the written reference mode, there are many reiterated errors.
