Abstract(s)
produtos personalizados.
apresentada.
In this work, we seek to study the possibilities to improve the method of Pilates, which aims at making a better use of sport as a means and tool to transform / form a man. We carried out a framework for the problem by analysing and characterising aspects associated with a society and man, health and physical activity, sport, fitness in general and specifically Pilates, in order to achieve a state of the art on these themes. Based on systematics of sports activities, we characterize Pilates as an individual sports activity, that combined with the aspects mentioned in the state of art, namely physiological aspects such as the increase in flexibility, strength, motor control and others. It also has characteristics that make this sports activity a privileged means of transforming a man, so that the person is able to focus on the control of internal variables and enhance mental awareness of himself. Based on the individual sports model, we present a conjecture that proposes to enhance Pilates in the way, that without losing its essence, it can contribute to the use of sport, not only in terms of physiological variables in a perspective of body hygiene, but also improve and develop, as in very few areas, man holistically, respecting his individuality through personalized processes and products. For this, we have studied different contexts which present proposals using Pilates and combination of external and internal variables, competition and evaluation. As a means of refuting the presented conjecture, we have analyzed, on an exploratory basis, the applicability of a specific situation involving an assessment and the prescription of the exercise in terms of diagnosis, prescription and control. It was possible to conclude that this is a promising conjecture to answer the presented problem.
