This internship report results from a formative experience within the Master’s Degree in Physical Education Teaching in Basic and Secondary Education at University of Madeira, carried out at Escola Secundária Jaime Moniz, during the 2024/2025 academic year. The pedagogical intervention required a critical and reflective analysis of all the activities implemented, in order to understand their impact on the teaching and learning process. Current education requires students to take an active role in class, developing values that are applicable not only within the school context but also in their personal and social lives. In this scenario, the teacher plays a guiding role, encouraging students to build their own knowledge while fostering attitudes and values, and planning lessons that integrate both dimensions in a meaningful way. This approach contributes to the education of more conscious, participative citizens who are prepared to face the challenges of contemporary society. This report is structured according to the following dimensions of the teaching practicum: (a) Framework of the Internship; (b) Management of the Teaching and Learning Process; (c) Teaching Practice; (d) Lesson Observation Project; (e) Curricular Extension Activity; (f) Community Integration Activity; (g) Collective and Individual Scientific-Pedagogical Action. The internship represented an essential stage in the training of future Physical Education teachers, as it enabled the practical application of acquired knowledge, promoted the development of professional competences, and provided a deeper understanding of school dynamics. It also proved to be decisive for our personal transformation, fostering the development of specific competences that support future pedagogical interventions that are more conscious, autonomous, and adapted to the demands of educational practice.
