This proposal contributes to the interdisciplinary opening in the face of the complexity of human captivity as a regime of existence that is formalized in a territorial statute and a repertoire of cinematic images. The logic of obliteration weighs on the idea of confinement at a discursive, symbolic, and epistemological level; it is largely conceived from the sensible experience of cinema, whose demagogic patterns of symptomatic figuration present and represent it as an irrevocable fact and not as human-made, as an element of history. The immobility of confinement inscribes the body to the mandate of the law and to the impracticality of territory; the abundance of representational images limits the possibility of self-reflection. To overcome this contrition, a narrative arises that deserts from the order: The cinematic language of Jean Genet overflows with vital, intellectual, individual experience and a politics of use and modeling of the territory of confinement as a global place.
