Abstract(s)
sistema, o modo automÔtico e o modo manual.
telemóvel do utilizador.
Home automation is a technology responsible for the automatic control of the housing resources. Home automation in order to perform the integrated management of the various equipment present in a home, whether it be residential or commercial It uses and takes advantage of the different electronic and informatic systems present nowadays. In a complete and functional system, two different modes of the system are combined, an automatic mode and a manual mode. In addition to this management of the housing resources, the control of the house can be performed locally and remotely. The remote control is possible through the use of the Internet or the userās own mobile phone. In this thesis it was realized a complete system capable of local and remote control of a home. For this work we implemented a distributed architecture consisting of four S7- 1200 PLCs to control and manage the various home automation resources. Various types of sensors were used to control and monitor the different functionalities of the house, such as light and lightness control, heating and cooling, presence, automatic gate and watering system it was also used different actuators for simulation of the different house features. To command and control this system, an Android application was developed through the use of the Android Studio software. Simulation tests of different scenarios were carried out using prototypes for each one of the implemented functionalities. Using the Android application for management, monitoring and local or remote control of the home automation system. For these simulation tests a smartphone with the corresponding application was used, connected to the home automation system developed through a Wi-Fi connection. The correct functioning of the home automation system and its interconnection with the Android application was verified through the constant monitoring of the reading parameters of the housing resources and constant analysis of the system adaptation to the requirements intended by the user, through the prototypes developed for the implemented functionalities.
