O presente Relatório de Estágio insere-se no âmbito do Mestrado em Gestão da Universidade
da Madeira e refere-se ao estágio curricular realizado no ano letivo de 2023/2024, no gabinete
de contabilidade Pilar Empresarial, Lda. o estágio teve como objetivo principal integrar os
conhecimentos adquiridos ao longo do Mestrado num contexto profissional, promovendo o
desenvolvimento de competências técnicas e comportamentais essenciais na área da
contabilidade e da gestão.
Procurou-se, assim, avaliar a aplicabilidade da teoria, reforçar a capacidade de resposta a
situações reais e contribuir para a melhoria de processos internos da organização. As atividades
desenvolvidas abrangeram tarefas de arquivo, inserção de documentos no sistema informático,
reconciliações bancárias, conferência de contas, verificações cruzadas de informação e contacto
direto com demonstrações financeiras.
A realização destas atividades possibilitou a vivência da rotina de um gabinete de
contabilidade, a compreensão dos requisitos normativos e legais do Sistema de Normalização
Contabilística e a exploração de programas de software de apoio à atividade contabilística. Os
resultados alcançados traduziram-se no reforço da capacidade de adaptação, no
aperfeiçoamento de competências técnicas e interpessoais e numa perceção mais clara da
importância da padronização de processos internos e da utilização eficiente das tecnologias de
informação.
Em síntese, o estágio constituiu uma experiência enriquecedora, permitindo aplicar os
conhecimentos adquiridos no Mestrado em Gestão, desenvolver competências transferíveis
para o mercado de trabalho e compreender de forma mais profunda os desafios inerentes à
profissão. Revelou-se, assim, um contributo fundamental para a consolidação da carreira na
área da contabilidade e gestão.
This internship report is part of the master’s degree in Management at the University of Madeira and refers to the curricular internship carried out during the 2023/2024 academic year at the accounting firm Pilar Empresarial, Lda. The main objective of the internship was to integrate the knowledge acquired throughout the master’s program into a professional context, fostering the development of both technical and behavioral skills essential in the fields of accounting and management. The aim of the internship was to assess the applicability of theory, strengthen the ability to respond to real situations, and contribute to the improvement of the organization’s internal processes. The activities carried out included filing, entering documents into the accounting software, performing bank reconciliations, account checks, cross-verifying information, and direct contact with financial statements. These activities provided an opportunity to experience the daily routine of an accounting office to understand the normative and legal requirements of the Accounting Standardization System and to explore software tools that support accounting practices. The results achieved reflect enhanced adaptability, improvement of technical and interpersonal skills and a clearer understanding of the importance of standardizing internal processes and efficiently using information technologies. In summary, the internship was an enriching experience, enabling the application of knowledge acquired during the master’s program, the development of transferable skills for the labor market, and a deeper understanding of the challenges inherent to the profession. It therefore proved to be a fundamental contribution to consolidating a career in accounting and management.
