A partir da mostra “Dar a palavra”, de Teresa Jardim, inaugurada em 2021, na Ga leria Espaçomar, da Escola Básica e Secundária Gonçalves Zarco, no Funchal, faz-se
uma reflexão sobre a diversidade de processos a que recorre a autora, cruzando livre mente objectos, palavras e imagens, tenham estas o estatuto de pintura, de desenho ou
de fotografia. Tendo como referência anteriores exposições suas, procura-se salientar o
idiolecto da autora e o propósito dos recursos processuais e estilísticos com que nos dá a
ver/ler as suas interrogações acerca das estratégias do próprio acto criativo.
Teresa Jardim’s “Dar a palavra” exhibition, (January 2021, Espaçomar Gallery, Gonçalves Zarco Basic and Secondary School, Funchal) allows us to consider the diversity of processes the author adopts, by freely associating objets, words and images, whether these are materialized as painting, drawing or photograhy. Taking her previous exhibitions as a reference, this article seeks to highlight the author’s idiolect and the purpose of her technical and stylistic procedures that allow us to see/read her interrogations about the strategies of the creative act itself.
