Abstract(s)
O presente
do ensino básico (75.8%).
In the 1970s and 1980s, the importance of teaching well-being began to grow, and the International Labor Organization considered teaching a profession of physical and mental risk. This study aimed to assess the well-being of teachers in the 3rd cycle of basic education and vocational education through the analysis of their levels of anxiety, stress, depression and resilience. The research followed a quantitative methodology with a sample composed of 145 teachers, 67.9% female with an average of 45 years of age, most of whom taught in the 3rd cycle of basic education (75.8%). The instruments used were the Depression Anxiety and Stress Scale (EADS) adapted by Pais Ribeiro, Honrado and Leal (2004) and the Measuring State Resilience Scale (MSR) adapted by Helena Martins (2000). Data was statistically analyzed through descriptive, correlational and inferential studies. The results obtained showed a correlation between the anxiety, stress and depression variables, with vocational education teachers being the ones who showed higher levels of these variables. It was also possible to verify that men had higher levels of depression.
