Freitas, Pedro Miguel Coelho de; Campos, Pedro Filipe PereiraThe use of educational programs is a way for students to learn and develop skills in an interactive and motivating way, as schools are increasingly involved in this environment, they cannot ignore the technological resources for the teaching and learning of students, as it can be very useful to the teacher, not only because he can create a lesson plan, but also create more didactic material for the purpose of students acquire knowledge independently, and its use can be done anywhere, as long they have technology that supports the program. Technological development thus allows the use of resources inside and outside the classroom, surpassing traditional methods. The “EarQuiz” application was created in order to help Music Education students in their auditory training, and the application helps its users to associate melodic intervals with music excerpts, showing them the location of that interval in music in question. Through the testing sessions carried out by the students of the 4th and 5th Degree of Musical Formation of the Conservatório das Artes, the hypotheses initially questioned were verified, being that the students feel motivated and learn the melodic intervals through the application, the success of learning is best if you use the song tips as a complementary aid. Through the teachers it was possible to verify that they value and consider the application as a technological resource of complementary help in the learning of melodic intervals.
