Abstract(s)
O presente relatório insere-se no âmbito da Unidade Curricular Estágio e Relatório,
sendo a sua apresentação/avaliação a última etapa do processo para a conclusão do Plano de
Estudos do Mestrado em Educação Pré-escolar e Ensino do 1.º Ciclo do Ensino Básico da
Universidade da Madeira. Neste sentido, o mesmo tem como finalidade a obtenção do grau
de mestre nos referidos setores educativos.
Além de refletir as práticas ocorridas em dois contextos educativos diferentes, a
Educação Pré-Escolar e o 1.º Ciclo do Ensino Básico, este relatório de estágio demonstra o
processo inerente a essas práticas, mormente, a metodologia subjacente, o modo de
organização do trabalho e os tópicos alvo de reflexão. Ambos os estágios decorreram no
período entre 26 de setembro e 16 de dezembro de 2011, na freguesia de São Martinho,
cidade do Funchal, mais precisamente no infantário O Girassol e na Escola Básica do 1.º
Ciclo com Pré-Escolar da Nazaré. Saliente-se que o grupo com o qual trabalhei na valência
de Educação Pré-Escolar apresentava entre 23 e 32 meses de idade, o que correspondia a uma
sala de transição. Na vertente de Ensino do 1.º Ciclo do Ensino Básico, os alunos
apresentavam uma média de idades de, aproximadamente, sete anos, correspondendo a uma
sala de 2.º ano de escolaridade.
Ao longo desta explanação de índole meditativa, o leitor terá a oportunidade de
depreender os resultados de uma pedagogia diferenciada que parte da criança como
protagonista da sua própria aprendizagem. Assim, subentende-se uma prática de base ativa
em que, o facto de a própria criança construir e manipular os materiais que lhe permitirão
conhecer o mundo, apresenta efeitos muito positivos no seu desenvolvimento.
The present report falls under the Curricular Unit of Internship and Report. It’s presentation / evaluation is the last step for completion of the Master Plan Study on Preschool Education and Teaching 1st cycle of Basic Education at the University of Madeira. In this sense, it aims at obtaining a master's degree in those educational sectors. In addition to reflecting the practices that occurred in two different educational settings, Preschool Education and 1st cycle of Basic Education, this intership report shows the inherent process in such practices, in particular, the methodology underlying the approach of work organization and targeted topics of reflection. Both stages were held in the period between September 26 and December 16, 2011, in the parish of São Martinho, city of Funchal, more precisely in kindergarten O Girassol and in the Basic School of the 1st cycle with Preschool of Nazaré. It should be noted that the group with whom I worked in the valence of Preschool Education presented between 23 and 32 months old, which corresponded to a transition room. In terms of teaching in the 1st cycle of Basic School, students had an average age of approximately seven years, corresponding to the second school year. Throughout this explanation of meditative character, the reader will be able to deduce the results of a differentiated pedagogy that part of the child as the protagonist of their own learning. Thus, it is understood an active base in practice that, the fact it self of the child constructing and manipulating the materials allows to know the world, has a very positive effect on her development.
