Abstract(s)

The study was descriptive and exploratory. An online questionnaire was carried out containing a sociodemographic questionnaire, the Burnout Parental Assenssement scale and the Multidimensional Perfectionism Scale. 450 fathers participated, of which 94% were mothers. The data showed a prevalence of 6% of parental burnout, only in mothers, with a significant difference regarding the age of the parents, the age of the youngest child and having a child with special educational needs. Correlations were evident between perfectionism and parental burnout, more evident between Socially Prescribed Perfectionism, Self-Oriented Perfectionism and Parental Burnout, allowing in the future a more targeted and effective performance with the most vulnerable parents.
