Abstract(s)
Recognizing the importance of reflection to ensure quality teaching practice, this report reflects all the experience and knowledge acquired over these two years of a master's degree in Pre School Education and Primary School Teaching, with the aim of obtaining a master's degree. This document is structured in three distinct parts: the Theoretical Framework, the Methodological Framework, and the Pedagogical Intervention, based on the Pedagogical Practices experienced in Pre-School Education and in the 1st Cycle of Basic Education (2nd and 3rd year of schooling). In the first and second parts, the Pedagogical Practices are theoretically and methodologically grounded and in the third part there is a sharing, description, and reflection of these Pedagogical Practices. The three Pedagogical Practices were carried out in the same public school in the municipality of Funchal. In the Pedagogical Practice carried out in the Pre-School context, the activities developed were in line with various themes proposed by the cooperating teacher. In the Pedagogical Practice carried out in the 1st Cycle context, the activities were developed in accordance with the Essential Learnings, never forgetting the importance of implementing diversified dynamics, thus finding a harmony between the use of textbooks and playful activities. In fact, this report is much more than a description of teaching practice. This document is a sharing of various experiences that mark the beginning of my professional activity as a teacher. Despite the existence of mistakes and failures, the desire to be better, to learn, to grow and to evolve was constantly present throughout the internships, always with the aim of promoting in the children not only knowledge, but also joy, satisfaction and motivation to learn.
