O cinema como parceiro dialógico: Tudo sobre minha mãe e a discussão sobre gênero, sexualidade e diversidade

Abstract(s)
Tendo em vista os estudos bakhtinianos, encaramos o objeto fílmico como
um importante parceiro dialógico. Assim, ao se reconhecer o cinema como produtor de
discursos, a análise fílmica aparece como elemento de relevância na sociedade
contemporânea, já que nossas sociedades contemporâneas são bombardeadas,
diariamente, por turbilhões de imagens. Dessa forma, elegemos o filme Tudo sobre minha
mãe, do cineasta espanhol Pedro Almodóvar, como mola propulsora de reflexões sobre
gênero, sexualidade e diversidade. É através da alteridade, a qual se efetiva por meio do
reconhecimento do objeto fílmico como o Outro com quem se dialoga, que tais reflexões
encontram solo fértil para germinar.
In view of Bakhtinian studies, we regard the filmic object as an important dialogical partner. Thus, when recognizing cinema as a discourse producer, film analysis appears as an element of relevance in contemporary society, since our contemporary societies are bombarded, daily, by eddies of images. In this way, we chose the film All about my mother, by spanish filmmaker Pedro Almodóvar, as the driving force behind reflections on gender, sexuality, and diversity. It is through otherness, which takes effect through the recognition of the filmic object as the Other with whom we dialogue, that such reflections find fertile soil to germinate.
