O presente estudo apresenta-se como uma estruturação da investigação delineada sob o tema Reflexão partilhada entre pares pedagógicos na educação de infância - Contributos para a (re) construção da profissionalidade docente. Teve como intuito trazer à discussão os aspetos da relação entre a supervisão pedagógica, mormente a reflexão partilhada, e o desenvolvimento da profissionalidade docente na carreira dos educadores de infância. Por conseguinte, é um estudo que pretendeu compreender a relação desenvolvida entre o papel da reflexão no trabalho dos pares pedagógicos e o seu contributo para a melhoria dos elementos que dizem respeito às práticas pedagógicas e ao desenvolvimento profissional das educadoras participantes. Através desta investigação de natureza qualitativa, manifestámos o propósito de conhecer e compreender as representações deste grupo profissional relativamente à prática colaborativa e reflexiva, entendida como condição essencial para o exercício docente na educação de infância, assim como esclarecer a importância conferida pelos educadores a esta atuação no contexto do seu desenvolvimento profissional. É uma investigação que procurou estudar esta temática com base na observação da ação e do testemunho de quatro educadoras de infância participantes, constituídas em dois pares pedagógicos.
This present research project is presented as a structuring of the research outlined in the theme Shared reflection between pedagogical pairs in early childhood education – Contributions to the (re) construction of teaching professionalism. It had the purpose of bringing into discussion the aspects of the relationship between pedagogical supervision, namely shared reflection, and the development of teaching professionalism in the career of early childhood educators. Therefore, it is a study that sought to understand the relationship between the role of reflection in the work of pedagogical pairs and its contribution to the improvement of the elements related to pedagogical practices and the professional development of the participating teachers. Through this qualitative-based research, we expressed the intention of knowing and understanding the representations of this professional group in relation to the collaborative and reflective practice, understood as an essential condition of the teaching practice in early childhood education, as well as clarifying the importance attributed by the teachers to this undertaking in the context of their professional development. It is an investigation that sought to study this subject based on the observation of the action and the testimony of four participating kindergarten teachers, consisting of two pedagogical pairs.
