Este artigo discute as articulações narrativas e as estratégias de registro de três
documentários realizados por diretoras brasileiras em seus filmes sobre o impeachment
de Dilma Rousseff: Filme Manifesto: O Golpe de Estado de Paula Fabiana (2016), O
processo de Maria Augusta Ramos (2018) e Alvorada de Anna Myulaert e Lô Politi
(2020). Analisaremos como esses filmes retratam o processo de impeachment da única
presidenta brasileira apropriam-se de imagens do mundo histórico em três espaços
distintos – as ruas, o parlamento e a residência presidencial – ancoradas na experiência e
na observação para construir asserções solidárias à Dilma e analíticas a respeito deste fato
traumático da história contemporânea do Brasil.
This publication discusses the narrative articulations and recording strategies of three documentaries made by Brazilian directors in their films about Dilma Rousseff's impeachment: The Coup d’Etat (Paula Fabiana, 2016), The Process (Maria Augusta Ramos, 2018), and Alvorada (Anna Muylaert and Lô Politi, 2020), We will analyze how these films portray the impeachment process of the first female president of Brazil, appropriating images of the historical world in three distinct spaces - the streets, the parliament, and the presidential residence - anchored in theirs experiences and non interventional observations to build analytical assertions about this traumatic fact in the contemporary history of Brazil.
