Abstract(s)
We live in a time in history when people who have some kind of disability or incapacity, whether physical, cognitive or social, try to assert their rights by requiring conditions for these groups of people to be included in society, and not almost automatically excluded, thus making access to culture, for example, a complex situation that needs to be addressed. Despite their increasingly participatory role in social life, as they try to assert their voice, there is still a long way to go. For this purpose design, as a creative field with a strong social impact, can and must take the forefront and act as the main actor in the inclusion of all these groups of individuals who fight daily to be able to enjoy the culture, a culture that is a right of all. This master's thesis tries to show the healthy relationship that can exist between culture, inclusion and design and serve as a useful contribution to the construction of a manual of good practices to take into account in the demand for a world where everyone has access to culture and where everyone can help break down the barriers that are placed daily in this access.
