Abstract(s)
Este estudo tem como objetivo principal validar o Inventario de Metas Académicas adaptado
para o Ensino Superior (Miranda & Almeida, 2017). Foi aplicado a uma amostra de 222
estudantes da Universidade da Madeira, com uma média de idades de 21,2 e um desvio
padrão de 5,15 de diversos cursos da Universidade da Madeira e Madeira. Na análise fatorial
identificaram-se os três fatores estipulados na fundamentação teórica do instrumento, que
explicam 56,4% da variância total dos itens, explicando o fator 1: 25, 01%, o fator 2: 16,96
%, e o fator 3: 14,66,% da variância nos itens. Os três fatores mostraram valores de
consistência interna adequados, concretamente as Metas orientadas para o evitamento da
pressão social, alpha de 0,762, as Metas orientadas para o rendimento um alpha de 0,674, e
as Metas orientadas para aprendizagem observaram, um alpha de 0,867. Os resultados
também sugerem que as raparigas apresentam médias mais elevadas nas metas orientadas
para a aprendizagem por comparação com os rapazes em todos os anos escolares, estas alunas
também apresentavam melhor rendimento académico.
This study has as objective to validate an Academic Goals Inventory adapted to college education (Miranda & Almeida, 2017), A sample of 222 students of University of Madeira, with an average age of 21,2 and a standard deviation of 5,15 across many different courses of University of Madeira and the island of Madeira. Regarding the factor analysis, three factors were identified and stipulated as theory fundamentals of the instrument, which explain the items total variance of 56,4 % following with factor 1: 25,01%, factor 2: 16,96% and factor 3: 14,66% of item variance. The three factors have shown adequate internal consistency values, namely the academic goals Oriented for social pressure eschew an alpha of 0,762, the academic goals oriented to avail an alpha of 0,674 and the academic goals oriented to apprenticeship had an alpha of 0,867. The results also suggest that women had the best grades in comparison with men within the academic goals oriented to apprenticeship in all scholar years; the same results were verified regarding the academic goals of avail.
