O presente artigo aborda o processo tradutório
de um poema de Rafael Pombo, “La pobre vie jecita”, lidando sucintamente com as questões
que surgiram e tecendo considerações sobre o
tema da morte, central no poema. Começa com
a tradução do poema, seguida de uma pequena
apresentação do autor do texto de partida e de
um curto enquadramento teórico da tradução.
This article examines the process of translating a poem by Rafael Pombo, “La pobre viejecita”, ad dressing the challenges encountered during the translation and delving into the central theme of the poem: death. It begins with the translation of the poem, followed by a brief introduction to the source text’s author, and a theoretical framework on translation.
