Abstract(s)
O presente estudo investigou a multidiversidade dos Estilos de Liderança e a sua
influência nas Relações Humanas. Especificamente identificou-se os Estilos de Liderança
presentes no Diretor Pedagógico, bem como avaliou-se se o Estilo de Liderança exercido
por este, se constitui o mais eficaz para proporcionar um bom relacionamento entre os
membros da equipa. Conseguinte, aferiu-se a influência das atitudes do Diretor
Pedagógico na ação laboral dos Diretores de Turma, tendo em conta a perceção destes
acerca das Relações Humanas vivenciadas no seio da equipa, do Colégio Salesianos do
Funchal.
Os resultados obtidos neste estudo de caso de caráter qualitativo, recolhidos
através do Multifactor Leadership Questionnaire demonstraram que, o Estilo de
Liderança exercido pelo Diretor Pedagógico é o Transformacional constituindo-se o estilo
mais eficaz no exercício da Liderança. Os resultados sugerem que este líder tende
tendencialmente a motivar os seus liderados a atingir a mestria, a aumentar a
produtividade e a fomentar a responsabilidade no desempenho de tarefas estipuladas pela
organização. Em relação ao Esforço Extra, Eficácia e Satisfação na Liderança o Diretor
Pedagógico apresenta níveis elevados, sugerindo que o mesmo tende a propiciar aos
outros a vontade de atingirem o sucesso através do seu esforço pessoal e que este possui
boas capacidades de liderar o grupo de forma eficaz, refletindo-se nos níveis elevados de
Satisfação.
Da aplicação de Entrevistas Semiestruturadas aos Diretores de Turma e ao Diretor
Pedagógico concluiu-se que, as Relações Humanas entre a Equipa Pedagógica são
positivas evidenciando-se que as caraterísticas do líder são apreciadas pelos membros da
equipa. Os resultados sugerem ainda que, o Diretor Pedagógico tende a proporcionar aos
seus liderados o desenvolvimento pessoal e profissional destes, possuindo ótimas
capacidades de liderar com eficácia o seu grupo de trabalho, propiciando um ambiente
laboral harmonioso.
The present study aimed to analise the multidiversity of Leadership Styles and their influence on Human Relationships. Specifically, the Leadership Styles present in the Pedagogical Director were identified, as well as it was assessed whether the Leadership Style exercised by him is the most effective to provide a good relationship between the team members. In addition, we tried to understand the influence of the attitudes of the Pedagogical Director on the work action of the Class Directors taking into account their perception of the Human Relationships experienced with in the team, from the Salesianos College of Funchal. The results obtained in this qualitative case study collected through the Multifactor Leadership Questionnaire demonstrated that the Leadership Style exercised by the Pedagogical Director is the Transformational. This constituting the most effective style in the exercise of Leadership. The results suggest that this leader tends to motivate his followers to achieve mastery, to increase productivity and to encourage responsibility in the performance of tasks stipulated by the organization. In Leadership the Pedagogical Director present high levels of Extra Effort, Effectiveness and Satisfaction. This suggest that him tends to give others the desire to achieve success through his personal effort and he has good skills to lead the group in a effective way. This is reflected in the high levels of Satisfaction. From the application of the Semi-Structured Interviews to the Class Directors and the Pedagogical Director it was concluded that the Human Relationships between the Pedagogical Team are positive showing that the characteristics of the leader are valued by the team members. The results also suggest that the Pedagogical Director tends to provide his followers with their personal and professional development, having excellent skills to effectively lead their work group and providing a harmonious work environment.
