Abstract(s)
2000; Yunes, 2003). Neste estudo, pretende-se analisar a criatividade e a resiliência no ensino
superior, nomeadamente, nos docentes, estudantes, funcionários e investigadores. A amostra é
Garcês, Jesus, Viseu e Miguel-Tobal (in press) e a Measuring State Resilience, adaptada para
mais criativos; os docentes são mais resilientes do que os estudantes e do que os investigadores;
apresentadas e discutidas.
In Positive Psychology, creativity and resilience are considered fundamental tools for the healthy development of the individual (Seligman & Csikszentmihalyi, 2000; Yunes, 2003). In this study, it is intended to analyze creativity and resilience in higher education, namely, in teachers, students, employees and researchers. The sample consists of 326 participants aged 17 or over, who responded to the project protocol “Psychological Well-Being in Madeiran Society”. Regarding the instruments used, the Creative Personality Scale - Reduced Form, by Pocinho, Garcês, Jesus, Viseu and Miguel-Tobal (in press) and the Measuring State Resilience, adapted for the Portuguese population by Martins, in 2005 (Teixeira, 2014), were applied. The results showed that there is a positive association/correlation between creativity and resilience; female individuals are more resilient; older individuals are more resilient and tend to be more creative; individuals with higher education are more creative; teachers are more resilient than students and researchers; teachers are more creative than students; and, resilience can be explained by creativity and gender, which are predictors for this variable.
