Abstract(s)
(2002, 2004), Gilles Deleuze e Félix Guattari (2012), Nestor Perlongher (1993) e Rogerio
Haesbaert (2002).
: This paper is an excerpt from the poetic research being developed at the Master in Visual Arts - PPGAVI/UFPEL. We seek to investigate how territoriality has been addressed in some recent Brazilian film productions, we are interested in debating the concepts of territory and de-re-territorialization from the trajectories of LGBT people in four movies: Antes o Tempo não Acabava (2016) by Fábio Baldo and Sérgio Andrade, Corpo Elétrico (2017) by Marcelo Caetano, Tinta Bruta (2018), by Marcio Reolon and Filipe Matzembacher, and Sócrates (2018), by Alexandre Moratto. We begin with the understanding of territory and territorialization through the work of Milton Santos (2002, 2004), Gilles Deleuze and Félix Guattari (2012), Nestor Perlongher (1993) and Rogerio Haesbaert (2002). We analyze the relations of the protagonists with the territories they inhabit throughout the movie plots, associating their trajectories sometimes with processes of deterritorialization, sometimes with processes of reterritorialization. We bring Jack Halberstam (2005) to understand the protagonists' spatial productions that escape the heteronormative logic's.
