Abstract(s)
globalização, aceleração do conhecimento e informação, diversidade cultural e social, dentre
outros, pois a sociedade exige respostas inovadoras, e a escola necessita criar ambientes de
aprendizagem no quotidiano escolar dos alunos, propícios à inovação pedagógica. Neste
Pedagogical Innovation implies qualitative changes in pedagogical practices, challenges the teacher to be a mediator and the students to build their own knowledge. The methodological route to the development of this study, which the subject talks about Pedagogical Innovation in Early Childhood Education and Elementary Education was structured using a research of ethnographic nature -a significant tool of qualitative investigation especially in the education field - and theoretical foundations of relevant authors; and the field research with the researcher in the study environment, using participative observation techniques, semi structured interviews with the Pedagogical Coordinator, teachers and parents of students enrolled in the school, photographic register, field journal, notepad and, then, the analysis of the results collected based on the theoretical and methodological grounds. Therefore, these records were essential to reply to the object of study, which means that to investigate if there is pedagogical innovation in the Themed Projects developed by the students of Early Childhood Education and initial series of Elementary Education, as well as to observe if the placement of these projects contribute to the learning, prioritizing the student, the research subject, how to be autonomous, critical, creative and protagonist in the process of knowledge construction, at the Bilingual School of Early Childhood Education and Primary Education Puro Saber in Fortaleza, Ceará, Brazil. It is notorious that all the changes happen and are related to globalization, acceleration of knowledge and information, cultural and social diversity, among others, because the society demands innovative answers and the school needs to create learning environments in the students' daily school life, conducive to pedagogical innovation. In this context, this research identified through the observations and the tools applied during the visits that in the researched school there are aspects considered relevant and innovative in the Themed Projects.
