A inclusão dos indivíduos na sociedade, passa cada vez mais pelo sistema
educativo, uma vez que este tem vindo a implementar uma formação mais direcionada
para componentes de âmbito específico como os cursos profissionais que se destinam a
alunos cujo principal objetivo visa a obtenção de qualificações e competências técnicas
que lhes permitam o ingresso no mercado de trabalho. Este estudo teve como principal
objetivo aferir a perceção dos sujeitos em relação às competências técnicas e
psicossociais que o SEP – Sistema de Ensino Português lhes proporcionou e,
secundariamente, a validação de um instrumento desenvolvido para o efeito. Trata-se de
uma investigação descritiva com enfoque quantitativo, realizada numa amostra de 241
indivíduos residentes na RAM e tendo completado os ciclos de estudos em Portugal.
Para recolha dos dados foi construído e validado um questionário e analisadas as
variáveis sócio-demográficas e todas as correlações existentes para com a escala
construída. A análise dos resultados revelou um desequilíbrio ao nível do número de
experiências profissionais (indivíduos com duas ou mais experiências detêm níveis de
perceção mais elevados), situação profissional (indivíduos com contratos sem termo
com níveis de perceção mais elevados) e habilitações literárias (indivíduos que
completaram o ensino primário, básico e secundário na RAM detêm níveis de perceção
mais elevados). A partir do estudo das correlações entre as variáveis e a escala,
verificou-se apenas uma relação direta entre a idade (variável independente) e a escala
(variável dependente), à medida que a primeira aumenta, os valores referentes aos itens
da segunda diminuem. Tais resultados indicam que a perceção dos indivíduos face às
competências técnico-profissionais adquiridas na sequência do SEP diminui, à medida
que a idade destes aumenta. Os resultados demonstram, ainda, que os mesmos sentem
se satisfeitos e detêm níveis satisfatórios quanto à perceção das competências técnico
profissionais adquiridas na frequência do SEP.
The inclusion of individuals in society passes more and more through the educational system, once this has been implementing a more targeted training for specific components, as for, the professional courses aimed at students which main goal is to obtain qualifications and technical skills that enables them to enter the labour market. This study aims at assessing the perception of individuals in relation to technical and psychosocial skills that SEP has provided them with, and, secondarily, the validation of an instrument developed for this purpose. This focuses on a descriptive research with quantitative approach, performed on a sample of 241 individuals living in RAM, and having completed their cycle of studies in Portugal. To collect data, it was necessary to develop and validate a questionnaire and analyse the socio-demographic variables and all the existing correlations for the scale built. The results revealed an imbalance in terms of the number of professional experiences (individuals with two or more experiences have higher levels of perception), professional status (individuals with no term contracts with higher levels of perception) and higher qualifications (individuals who completed their primary and secondary levels in RAM have a higher perception). From the study of the correlations between variables and scale, there was a direct relationship between age (independent variable) and scale (dependent variable) as the first one increases , the values that refer to the items of the second one decreases. These results indicate that the perception of individuals associated to technical and professional skills acquired in the sequence of SEP decreases, as the age of these increases. The results also show that they feel satisfied and detain satisfactory levels regarding the perception of technical and professional skills acquired in the frequency of SEP.
