Abstract(s)
Dissertação de mestrado com o tema: o jogo de xadrez na aprendizagem de
matemática e a inovação pedagógica, tendo por objetivo compreender como as
práticas educativas com o jogo de xadrez contribuem para uma aprendizagem de
matemática fundamentada no desenvolvimento da criticidade e da autonomia dos
estudantes para gerar aprendizagem significativa. Foram enfatizadas as categorias
Aprendizagem, Xadrez, Matemática e Inovação Pedagógica, através de um estudo de
caso com abordagem qualitativa, utilizando como ferramentas de coletas de dados a
observação participante, a análise documental e a aplicação de questionários abertos.
As categorias que constituíram as respostas da investigação foram aprendizagem
significativa, aprendizagem crítica, aprendizagem autônoma e inovação. Por meio do
estudo concluiu-se que, no contexto investigado, o uso do xadrez se constitui como
uma prática inovadora de fato, contribuindo positivamente na aprendizagem de
matemática e aguçando o raciocínio lógico.
Master's dissertation with the theme: the game of chess in mathematics learning and pedagogical innovation, aiming to understand how educational practices with the game of chess contribute to learning mathematics based on the development of criticality and autonomy of students to generate meaningful learning.
