Abstract(s)
A questão da passagem da oralidade à escrita é muito pertinente na transcrição grafemática ou ortográfica das entrevistas realizadas, no âmbito do projeto Nona Ilha, aos emigrantes madeirenses, aos que ficaram à espera dos que partiram, assim como aos imigrantes que vieram para o Arquipélago da Madeira. Esta investigação enquadra-se na História Oral ou “História vista de baixo” que permite recolher toda a riqueza expressiva do registo oral, com as características da oralidade, as particularidades do Português falado na Madeira e as formas populares (geralmente associadas à baixa escolarização), bem como observar interferências das línguas dos países de acolhimento, possibilitando o estudo da língua falada enquanto identidade sociocultural no espaço e no tempo.
The questiono of the passage from the orality to the writting is pertinent in the graphematic or ortographic transcription of interviews made in the context of the Ninth Island Project, to the madeirian emigrants, to those that stayed in the island waiting for the ones that went away and to the imigrants that came to Madeira Archipelago. This research is made on the frame of Oral Hisrtory or History in the perspective of the low people, which give us the opportunity to collect all the expressive wealth of the oral register, with the characteristics of orality, the particularities of the spoken Portuguese in Madeira and the popular forms (generally related to the population with lower scolarization), as well as to observe same interferences of the host countries’ languages, providing us materials to study the spoken language as a sociocultural identity in the space and time.
