Abstract(s)
A criatividade é um fenómeno essencial para a compreensão do comportamento humano. São diversos os estudos realizados sobre esta temática, especificamente na América Latina, no qual foram reunidos neste artigo, como componente teórica que evidenciam a importância do clima criativo no contexto educacional e laboral, bem como alguns exemplos de instrumentos avaliatórios da criatividade, que demonstram a relevância desta temática no quotidiano do indivíduo. O estudo realizado neste artigo, embora exploratório, permitiu fazer uma pré-validação de uma prova (Prova de Avaliação do Pensamento Divergente), junto de uma amostra de 40 sujeitos, da Região Autónoma da Madeira. Os resultados da consistência interna são muito bons, o que concede à prova validade para ser aplicada. As mulheres obtiveram resultados significativamente superiores comparativamente aos homens, e na globalidade, metade da nossa amostra situa-se abaixo do percentil 50 e metade acima.
Creativity is an essential phenomenon for understanding human behavior. There are several studies on this subject, specifically in Latin America, which were brought together in this article, as a theoretical component that shows the importance of creativity environment, in the educational and work context, as well as some examples of instruments of creativity, that demonstrate the relevance of this concept in the individual’s daily life. The study in this article, although exploratory nature, allowed a pre-validation of a test (Divergent Thinking Evaluation Test), with a sample of 40 subjects, of Madeira Islands. The results of internal consistency are very good, which gives validity to the test to be applied. Women has significantly superior results compared to men, and overall, half of our sample is below the 50th percentile and half above.
