Abstract(s)
Neste estudo pretendemos
A amostra é constituída
The Torrance Tests of Creative Thinking (TTCT) are the evaluation instrument most known and studied over the world. In this study we want to analyze the construct validity of four TTCT subtests: the verbal activities 4 and 5, and the figural activities 4 and 5, attending the results on the creative parameters of fluency, flexibility, originality, and elaboration. The sample has 385 students from 5th and 6th grades studying at a public school in Braga’s district. To analyze the contrast effects we used a four battery reasoning tests or convergent thinking (RTB-5/6). The results of the exploratory factor analysis show a factor saturation by subtest where only the elaboration criterion appears differentiated. When the results in the creativity subtests and in the reasoning tests are crossed the factor analysis shows three factors, one for the verbal component, other for the figural component, and another for the reasoning tests.
