Abstract(s)

This qualitative research based on ethnographic research, and participant observation complete as an indicator to investigate the critical reading of the learners involved, has as its object the circle readings as an experience of setting matética, the Pan American School of Bahia, with students from 5th grade Elementary School during the academic year 2009 - 2010, through the prism of educational innovation in contemporary times. It is understood that in this context, pedagogical innovation is defined as paradigmatic and structural changes in the way of learning and teaching. This dissertation is based in the theories of Jean Piaget's interactionism, constructivism of Lev Vygotsky and Seymour Papert, beyond the scope of the latter to the use of new technologies in the construction of networks of knowledge producers.
