Abstract(s)
estes agentes educativos poderão contribuir para o (in)sucesso académico. O presente
preditivas.
School and family are crucial to the development and educational success of students. At a time where we observe the existence of high levels of school failure, it is important to understand how these two educators, school and family, can contribute to academic success. This study aims to understand how the perception that parents and class directors have about student’s behavior relates to their academic performance. This study contains a sample of 396 students enrolled in the 2nd cycle of basic education that are part of Student Empowerment Projet of RAM. Overall, the results show that parents/guardians’ and class directors’ positive perception about students behavior are associated with a higher school performance. Moreover, we were able to find predictive models both for the behavior as to academic performance, having EE’s and DT’s perception as predictive variables.
