controlo postural e a gestão do stress.
Reconhecendo o
papel fundamental do professor, sublinhamos a necessidade de formação
facilitar a aplicação destas técnicas no contexto escolar.
We propose a didactic tool for integrating relaxation techniques into Physical Education classes, with the aim of promoting students' all-round development. Considering the relevance of Physical Education as a discipline that goes beyond mere physical development, encompassing cognitive, emotional and social dimensions, we highlight the importance of incorporating practices that favour body self-perception, postural control and stress management. The proposal centres on the use of Jacobson's Progressive Muscle Relaxation and Schultz's Autogenic Training, methods proven to be effective in reducing muscle tension and improving students' physical and psychological well-being. Recognising the fundamental role of the teacher, we emphasise the need for continuous training to implement these techniques in an integrated and pedagogical way. As a result, we present a didactic tool in digital format, structured in multiple interactive sections, which includes theoretical content, practical exercises, session plans and musical resources, aimed at facilitating the application of these techniques in the school context. In short, this initiative makes a significant contribution to promoting healthier educational environments, favouring students' autonomy and holistic training by integrating relaxation as an essential component of the Physical Education curriculum.
