Abstract(s)
Os meios e os instrumentos (materiais e conceptuais) ao nosso dispor atualmente possibilitam já uma compreensão dos fenómenos com maior rigor, precisão e objetividade. Ficamos assim obrigados a intervir sobre os fenómenos também de uma forma mais rigorosa, precisa e objetiva evitando desperdícios que até há bem pouco tempo eram praticamente inevitáveis. O desporto, sendo um dos fenómenos com maior relevância na atualidade, não fica, naturalmente, à margem desta realidade e exigência. São, aliás, cada vez mais os meios e instrumentos disponíveis para uma intervenção no desporto. São já frequentes os exemplos de utilização de diversas novas tecnologias no desporto. Em desportos coletivos como o basquetebol, o andebol ou o futebol, por exemplo, o recurso a fotos e vídeos em tempo real ou mesmo a dados estatísticos das equipas e jogadores também em tempo real são já comuns e começam a ser parte natural das ferramentas utilizadas pelas equipas técnica e seus profissionais para suportar as suas decisões. Todavia, estamos em crer que não basta utilizar novos meios e instrumentos, essencialmente materiais, se os mesmos não tiverem o necessário suporte conceptual que permita uma outra compreensão e intervenção no desporto. Utilizar um tablet como uma simples folha de papel é um desperdício extravagante. Torna-se assim necessário utilizar também uma metodologia de intervenção que possibilite rentabilizar os meios e recursos disponíveis, ou seja, as tecnologias que atualmente estão ao nosso dispor e que são acessíveis com custos muito limitados (se os benefícios que podemos retirar da sua utilização forem elevados, claro). Na nossa comunicação iremos abordar, focando alguns breves exemplos, uma metodologia que nos permite intervir de uma forma mais rentável dando às tecnologias hoje disponíveis uma utilidade mais significativa para que a intervenção do profissional do desporto e/ou da educação física seja mais proveitosa permitindo-lhe obter maiores rendimentos.
The means and instruments (material and conceptual) currently available make it possible to understand the phenomena with greater accuracy, precision and objectivity. We are thus forced to intervene also in a more rigorous, precise and objective way, avoiding wastes that until very recently were unavoidable. The same is true in sport where the means and instruments are increasingly available and examples of the use of various technologies are already frequent. In collective sports, the use of photos and videos in real time, or even statistical data of teams and players, are already common and indispensable tools for management. But it is not enough to use new means and instruments, essentially material, without the necessary conceptual support that allows a different understanding and intervention in sport. It is thus necessary to master an intervention methodology that makes it possible get greater incomes from the means, resources and technologies currently available. We will address, with a few brief examples, a methodology that allows to intervene in a more profitable way, giving the available technologies a more significant utility so that the intervention of the professionals of sport and / or physical education can be more profitable, allowing greater incomes.
